Hyde Park Road, Leeds, LS6

This refurbished six-bedroom student house has a fresh, welcoming feel throughout. Each of the six bedrooms has a double bed, a desk and chair, storage space for clothes and a flat-screen television, giving everyone a comfortable, well-equipped room of their own.

The living room is a cosy place to relax together, with a large wall-mounted flat-screen television and a striking fireplace that makes it feel especially homely. The kitchen is spacious, with a dining table where housemates can sit down and share meals.

There are two bathrooms, which helps on busy mornings, along with internet and Google Chromecast, so streaming films and shows is simple.

The house is just a few minutes from the University of Leeds, which makes those 9am lectures that bit easier to reach, and it’s close to popular student spots for time off too. It’s all about balance, after all. Sainsbury’s is around five minutes away, so if everyone decides on a group dinner, a quick shop is easy.
